Still waiting...

...and waiting and waiting...

As of 5P (CST) this evening I still do not have a departure date for Singapore. I have a sneeking suspicion that when I do get that date I'll be in true 'hurry up' mode. Sort of the reverse of 'Hurry up and wait' - I'm doing 'Wait and hurry up'!

To keep ahead of the pace I went clothes shopping yesterday. Since I have the time I want to take a better selection with me in the hope (futile I'm sure) that I won't get sick of those clothes during the duration of my stay. This time around I'm thinking more separates so I can combine them in to different outfits.

I'm not a clothes horse by any stretch of the imagination; however, I do want to look nice, and be comfortable. The outside temps can range from 85 - 100F with corresponding heat indexes. To counter that the indoor air-conditioning can often feel arctic in nature. So, one has to dress for both (as well as the almost daily rain shower).

I'm wondering, can there be such a thing as too much planning?
